For many of us, the excitement of opening gifts is all-too-quickly followed by wrong size, wrong color, what-were-you-thinking disappointment. And then, many happy returns! For one extended member of my family, the announcement that his box of gift…

The day is not so sunny anymore, but I'm still enjoying it! I let my son open gifts from his Grandma and captured it all with my camera. But even better is that it is finally really sinking in that I finished my book! A writing buddy will be lookin…

My Mission and My Message

It is possible to know exactly who you are at the core and to know what you came here to do with the kind of certainty you feel down deep at the bottom of your soul. And it is possible to heal whatever is in your way so that you can take off like a rocket and blast your way into the life that's waiting for you. Not only is it possible, it will become probable the minute you say "yes!"

What I will help you do, using hand analysis and coaching, is move from disenchantment with whatever you feel obligated to right now and confusion about what to do next to a path that will lead to clarity and hope and the beauty and magnificence that comes from living right in the center of your purpose. Healing is a journey. But you can get there from here!

Your healing life purpose journey will require four important steps...

(1) Discover your life purpose
(2) Find out what has been holding you back
(3) Heal whatever is in your way
(4) Create the vision that will catapult you into the life that is waiting for you

A simple system, but not an easy process. Are you up for it?

Is This All There Is?

In last week’s blog post about the quest or crisis that happens at midlife, there were several suggestions for making the transition an easier one.

This blog post will address the first one: identifying what’s not working anymore.

If you have a journal, this would be a good time to grab it, so that you can really think through these questions and how they apply to your life, specifically.

"Most people experience some physical, relational, professional, or psychological changes during theirContinue

What Begins During the Middle Years: A Quest or a Crisis?

“We all have a second chance at becoming the person we are meant to be. This second chance is called midlife.” –Dan Johnston, Ph.D

Something happens during the middle years that sparks a questioning process about the quality and meaning of life. I know that that began to happen for me not long after I turned 30, and again when I turned 35.

During my 20s, I was so sure I knew what I was supposed to be doing that I just kept plowing through even when it became clear that my results were not what… Continue

Blog Plan for 2010

"Like the seeds dreaming beneath the snow, your heart dreams of spring." ~~Kahlil Gibran

As I sit here, sun shining through the window, beautiful oak tree in my view through the balcony door, it puzzles me that I can't seem to think of what to say. I have been trying to write this blog post in my head for a couple of days now and wasn't having very much success.

But I do have two possible explanations. It's winter, when my entire being slows down! And I'm pretty tired today.

The last two days… Continue

Did You Get What You Wanted for Christmas?

For many of us, the excitement of opening gifts is all-too-quickly followed by wrong size, wrong color, what-were-you-thinking disappointment. And then, many happy returns!

For one extended member of my family, the announcement that his box of gifts has arrived in the mail elicits a groan from all who hear it. And then a collective laugh.

But what of the deeper things we want? Things our souls want. Tine spent with family and friends, the reassurance that we are loved and cherished.

Did you r… Continue
